To say nothing of the terrible exploitation of mexican workers

The youngest working people of this generation are being disenfranchised and played for suckers by the elite of this country,Every corporation in america is running a skeleton crew on every shift, providing poor service and thrusting machines on them that are poor replacements for a human being. The minimum wage has been held down by an elite who says, I got mine, you get yours. To insure that it stays down ,a purposeful, concerted effort to allow people to illegaly take their jobs, has been ongoing,These young people try to raise a family on third world wages, can't afford insurance and are constantly damned for needing governmental assistance, which the elite will never pay a fair share of.They can't afford to buy cheap cuts of meat in the big box stores they work in,because the big box boys feel they must have the obscene profits needed to rapidly outgrow all competition. My children don't really remember the days of curteous, timely service, when you knew you were appreciated. That was before big boxes drove all the small businesses out, with unfair competition. The depth of my outrage when standing in a long line at big box goes far beyond irritation.I am mostly dissatisfied with the apathy of the American people. We are allowing our government to roam the world "freeing"people while we are being enslaved by corporations buying government Unless the contribution of money in the election and influence of government is limited to the taxable private income of individuals ,it will only get worse.corporate management should never be allowed to wield the massive economic power of contribution to anything but a general election fund. Individuals should be allowed to give as much as they want to to a party.only 100 dollars of that should be allowed to be written off on taxes. If one feels strongly enough about a party, then let him use all his own money to support it,past 100 dollars.Delbert W Allegood

illegal immigrants

This statement is often made, seldom completed:Corporations hire illegal workers because they can't get Americans to do the jobs-FOR THE AMOUNT OF MONEY THEY ARE WILLING TO PAY.

I don't wan't one thin dime spent on a stupid wall on the border between Mexico and the US or any other crackpot idea to give large amounts of payback to corporations.I want the liberal inspired, politically correct restrictions placed on employers about verifying ID and social security card authenticity to be removed, so that employers can actually protect themselves. That done, then I want the penality to be twice each illegal employees wages from the time of hiring, for each infraction, where poor documentation can be proven. I do want the border watched, with enough manpower to do the job.I want there to be a willingness to enforce our laws.It is only a matter of time before an enemy with a little spanish speaking capability, comes across the border, perhaps to Crawford Texas, with just a little bit of chemical, biological or radiological agent in a small container. It doesn't take much.

I hear much about compassion. If it were about compassion, then the people fleeing a cruel, murdering dictator in Cuba would all be allowed to stay here.Much has been said by massive immigration proponents as to how much more cubans are willing to work than those who were born here.Sound familiar?Of course, it's more about who can best be exploited, in order to maximize profits. If it were about compassion, then the Haitians arriving in leaky, sinking boats, many dying on the way, would not be sent back. The mainland Chinese, desperate enough to allow themselves to be locked into ships containers would be allowed to stay.Oh the many nations would fill us to overflowing.Yet, I read in the newspapers, that we are the most hated of all nations. Delbert W Allegood

If your illegal plan becomes obvious, make new laws to permit it

More than once, our president has consulted with the president of Mexico, on the matter of the great number of people illegally here, from Mexico. The other people he has consulted with, are his rich friends or their representatives, who benefit from cheap labor.Who will speak for the people, the citizens of the USA,who are being shortchanged in medical care, schools and other infrastructure, while they are paying heavily to support it? Has it truly become our duty to subsidize the labor costs of the corporate world,so that in the end, a few hundred of the worlds richest can have more money?Who owns these government buying entities? Fewer and fewer Americans. For the most part, the few hundred own them. Dear members of the elite: I believe I have a better plan. (actually, supposed to be,already in place). Do as I do. Try to follow and obey the laws of this country, which have been written by the legislative branch and held to be just by the judicial branch. You know; representative government,as in democracy. What I believe is your prime motive is just fine. Capitalism is a good thing. The usurpation of democratic representation, in order to maximize the profits of the richest capitalists,is quite another thing. It may be rooted in the tradition of the finest families among the elite, but it is un American It always has been. Hopefully, it always will be.Delbert W. Allegood

Down This Morning, a song about one face of execution

Down This Morning:All the others have been leaving-as she turns to me and says-I'm glad you came to see me-when I know you need to rest--There's no one else who loves me-who will come to see my face-Theres some who feel above me-and theres some who are afraid--C:They're gonna take me down this morning-and put me down to rest-At least I'll have a warning-I can give it all my best--I killed a man when I was angry-He treated me like a fool-They're killing me to change things-and some of them think that's cool--V:All the times that I've been sorry-are a thousand days and nights-With my last final heartbeat-I'll wish I was the one who died--I loved him more than my own life-and I never would believe-I could have gone that crazy-I hope death will bring relief--C:--Copyright1997Delbert W. Who Was It,a song about staying real in marriage

Who Was It:Who did you think you'd be hurting-if you could have your someone new-It's so much easier deserting-and so much harder to be true--Who did you think besides yourself-would feel the pain that you've been through-Who was it left behind when you left-Who was it who's been loving you--C:While I've been waiting here-what have you done to us-Fulfil my greatest fear-and leave me if you must--But don't try to make me feel the way I never can-for our world was good and real-until you told me of your plans--V:Don't I deserve consideration-To be much kinder let me know-than to confide in some come lateley-Who's never learned to love you so--When there's a new love It's so easy-to cover up what you know's wrong-What will you have when you've been cheating-with someone new who's come along--C:--Copyright1993Delbert W.Allegood

Old Charlie,a song about the way it was in 1964

Old Charley:C:Everybody loved old charlie-but nobody loves his kids-they don't know how to keep their place-the way old charlie did--V:Not long ago I saw charlie-and he was looking bad-getting on up in age-dying from the things he never had--like the operation-to make him well again-He did the doctors yard for wages-but not enough to get in--Charlie had a houseful-He sent them all to school-gave them all that he could-taught his kids the golden rule--Everybody says it's too bad-is there something I can do-best yard man I ever had-Charlie died at fourty two--C:Everybody loved old Charlie-but nobody loves his kids-they don't know how to keep their place-the way old Charlie did--Copyright1994Delbert W. Calm Before The Storm,a song about REALLY paying attention BEFORE you get married

Calm Before The Storm:Well if you ever wed a diamond girl-who loves and worships gold-you'll find the best of all your happiness-in the calm before the storm--She'll never really mean to put you down-when you can't measure up-It's just that she was born to measure out-with silver spoon and golden cup--A face as sweet as angels in the sky-A heart as hard as stone-If ever there's a look that tells a lie-Oh how you'll wish you'd only known--C:In the eye of a hurricane-there's no wind-You can see where's she's been-and then she hits you again-Have you ever watched how the wind dies down-and the whole world seems so still-well that's the way with a diamond girl-and the storm after the thrill--V:Well if you ever wed a diamond girl-and leave the girl next door-the weight upon your back is all the world-for all she'll ever want is more--she'll find the secrets to your giving out-She'll seem like she's so warm-It's just a game she plays to smile and pout-in the calm before the storm--C:--Copyright1993DelbertW. Spend Some Time,a song about alcohol addiction

Spend Some Time:You will find him on some corner-when the sun is setting down-looking like a page of yesterday-with a face that never frowns--You may speak and he will notice-or he might just sit and look-for the wine has dulled his senses-and his mind has all been cooked--C:You might spend some time-in his life with the wine-and fight the devils in the night-who come to haunt him-when there's no wine to be found-you might spend some time-in his life with the wine-really live like he's been dyin-through the years since he's been down--V:He might tell if he remembers-of the family he had-of the warmth in cold December days-when his life was never sad--We all wonder what has happened-in his life so long ago-why he's sick is Gods own secret-probably we'll never know--C:--Copyright1993Delbert W. Hey Mister Loneliness,a song about Tampa park rules

Hey Mister Lonliness:He was walking down the street to nowhere-wondrin what he'd do tomorrow-when he hadn't used today-and the leaves were slowly falling-for the winter soon was coming-and the coolness of the autumn made him shake-He was never quite too sure of where he'd go or if he'd stay-He was too old to remember-but he was too young and cared-what people say--C:Hey mister loneliness who in the world are you-Don't you know that walking in the park-for so long is against the rules-Hey mister loneliness who in the world are you-Don't you know that everybody here-has some place or a thing to do--V:He would talk to anyone who'd listen-and would tell them of his living-for he'd lived a lot he'd say-and the people who would listen-he would share with them his wisdom-but then mostly they all frowned and turned away-All the parks and streets and houses-Oh the world has turned its face-and he's caught between the ending-and forgotten by the world he helped to make--C:--Copyright1993 Delbert W. These American dreams,Coming home from a war in America

These American Dreams:I came home through San Francisco-It was cold and blowing rain-I almost never think about it -but I always feel the pain--Never felt I was a hero-not for any thing I've done-but I had hoped that you would love me-though I knew I'd never won--C:These American dreams-These American dreams-I'm some where in between these american dreams-V:I can hear a small explosion-and I'm
twentyone again-looking for a place to hide me-from the bullets and the men--I can't stop myself from dreaming-guess I will until I die-Oh I had hoped that I could change things-or hoped to know the reason why--C:These American dreams-these American dreams-I'm somewhere in between these American dreams--BR:I've fallen through the cracks I guess-I see so differently-I've somehow failed the"to be test"- I thought you wanted to be free--C:These American dreams-these American dreams-I'm somewhere in between these American dreams--Copyright1992Delbert W. For One day,a song about the experience of the common folk

For One Day:I woke up this morning to a phone call-and he said come in early won't you stay late-It's got a way of making me feel so small-and it's getting harder day by day--This car I've been driving has it's own mind-and knows where there's money in my account-The crazies have been coming closer each time-and the cops are just busting kids downtown--C:I've faced all the disapointment-that I have had in my life-and I can take the angry words that people say-I've been tired and I've been Hungry-and much worse off in my time-but I've had all that I can stand for one day.V:I thought that just maybe I could take off-and go where there's some flowers cause it"s been tough-I wish I could give up and go crazy-How I'd like to go home and be loved--C:--Copyright1993Delbert W allegood

HMO Practice, versus the out of style hippocratic oath

HMO Practice:I went down to the doctor-he only charged me five-He said nothing's wrong that won't kill you-and everybody's got to die--You should have come in sooner-could have done our little check-You know we believe in prevention-It's all your fault that you're a wreck--C:Got himself a hmo practice-got himself a hmo plan-He plans to take all that money-and do as little as he can--Got himself a hmo practice-Got a little mine for gold-said he was forced into action-They pay him well for every soul--Got himself a hmo practice-Got himself a money machine-If you try to play his game and win it-the lawyers can be mighty mean--V:He's on a list of doctors-He ain't been sued but twice-They settle out of court so often-His insurance goin through the sky--He could have been a winner-if he had played guitar-While he feels like he's only been here-He really should have been a star--C:--Copyright1997Delbert W. Where It Ends,a song about letting your children BE

Where It Ends:You're never gonna be nobody-never gonna go nowhere-If you tell a kid what he is often-he won't look in see who's there--You can grow up with your children-or you can grow up then have kids-but you still owe them the freedom-to do the things you never did--C:where it ends as ego-is where it starts as love-the troubles in this life as we go-are in themselves enough--Where it ends as myself-is where it starts as you-take a load off your children-and place it back where it goes to--V:Give a chance to be a wife-Give a chance to be a man-Give a kid a chance to be-not what you are but what he can--You're never gonna be like your brother-never gonna be like your friends-If you measure kids against each other-they'll never be what they'd have been--C:--Copyright1992Delbert W Allegood

Living Truth,A song about how easy it is to be happy

Living truth:He wants me for always-He wants me forever-and I said I'd be his today--I told him I'm lonely-I told him I needed-and He said I'll fill you with faith--C:As much as your heart can stand-As much as you want me to-your will is your own command-I'll fill you with living truth--V:Where my life was empty He filled me with His love-much more than I had known could be--He gave me more reasons to live than I'd hoped for-and He lives for you as for me--C:--Copyright1993Delbert W. Alabama,a song about a southern country boy and his love of home.

Alabama:Alabama I'm so far from home-I hear the voices of all of those I've known-Alabama when I'm asleep at night-I dream of heaven and almost lose the fright-C1:I spend my days when I can-in letters from the heart-I think of all the good times-we've had while we're apart--C2:I can't come home to you love-There is still a war to fight-I hold you close in my dreams-when I lay down at night--V:Alabama I'm so far from home-I love the freedom that I have had to roam-Alabama I love your rolling hills-If I should die here recieve my body still--C2:I can't come home to you love-There is still a war to fight-I hold you close in my dreams-When I lay down At night--V:Alabama I'm so far from home-I hear the voices of all of those I've known-Alabama I love your rolling hills-If I should die here recieve my body still--Copyright1997Delbert W. It's come time,a song about democracy over capitalism

It's Come Time:We don't need to take it to the streets-We don't need a different kind of plan-We don't need to watch it on tv-but we do need to take back this our land--We don't need to protest for the news-We don't need to burn down where we sleep-We don't need to bomb opposing veiws-and we don't need to sell our country cheap--C:It's come time to change it from elite-It's come time for limits on the greed-Time to get this country on it's feet-Time to change the hogs and how they feed--V:We don't need to make our children pay-for battles fought on credit long ago-We don't need to give it all away-and we don't need these rich men saying so-- We don't like the way you pass the rules-WE don't want to end in anarchy-We"ve grown tired of what you say and do-and we do need a change so we"ll be free--C:--Copyright1992 Delbert W. Allegood I believe this is as true now as it was then.I don't hate George Bush, nor any one else.I have an almost equal dislike for the practices of democrats and republicans. Democrats have become so inclusive as to exclude me.And the republicans are rapidly paving the way for an evil corporate world government.I especially despise the way people of the two parties constantly try to destroy each other personaly. The thing they agree on most is the exclusion of a viable third party with some principles .Jesus said the poor would always be with us. He didn"t elaborate, possibly because he understood we already knew that the rich rarely want a fair share, but ALL of it.It is not possible for a few hundred people to control almost all of the worlds wealth and not have a great excess of poor people. I do not believe the creator I know is in agreement with this.I do believe he will correct all.
