Kevorkia City 2040

I'm selected to inform you
the committee of your peers
has decided to abort you.
You would have only had a year.

The doctors have all told you
and we know,because we checked.
We shouldn't be here to scold you.
You could have reported,That's respect.

It's so easy,you won't mind at all;
your family will be there.
We have notified their "Worldcall",
under subsection "Care".

You've been living a good and long life
and abortion is so fair.
only those who are unwanted die,
at any age,terminated by "Healthcare".

Please don"t take it personally,
It's been extended on past birth.
For the good of our society
all the weak are precleansed from the earth.

You can't afford the fetus mart
to rejuvenate your cells.
you still have some lovely body parts.
There"s protein in your hair you could sell

Supporting The Troops

Upon perusing all the media,it seems that the hawks and doves have in common that most say they support the troops, and few of them actually do.The conservatives"got those entitlements"indiscriminately under control. Liberals thought fat people and drunks were victims, who ought to supported by a disability check, while my agent orange damage was not worthy of recognition, much less a disability payment.I have several organs seriously affected by the fact that, during 1965 we burned agent orange sprayed vegetation, and breathed the smoke, for three weeks in Vietnam.I have been in pain and sick a very long time.I finally was able to receive compensation for diabetes, now 115 dollars a month. That won't even cover my special diet costs.I am not alone and this is not new. There are ww2 veterans who only recently received compensation for several things. There are Korea veterans who for many years were told that their ,during combat, frostbite damage was nonservice connected. There are many people being denied their just due from Afganistan and Iraq service, because of political pressure against entitlements. How cruel Americans are in their uncaring apathy.Americans don't vote and don't intercede on our behalf. When Americans do vote, most will only vote for someone the media has touted as a winner. It takes money to support the troops;money for equipment to arm them properly and to protect them.It takes money to keep them and their families out of poverty. When they get hurt it, it takes money to help them.Buying a plastic yellow ribbon from greedy worldcorp won't do the job.In government,. money goes where the pressure sends it.Presently, because of Americas citizens refusal to be responsible and take control of their government,It goes to organized greed."Support the troops?"No,not even your own freedom, do you support. As in third rate countries,When military people have done their duty ,the people are done with them. Worse still,we have some people mistreating the young people who are serving now,and doing nothing about the government they disagree with. This is one of the stronger reminders of the pain of my Vietnam service.NPUBLICI

20 Thousand Troops

Subjugation or pacification of the populace is required in every occupation of one nation by another.Whether or not the occupier views itself as benevolent is of no consequence. There will always be those who will violently oppose occupiers. There will always be those who take advantage of the disorganization of post war conditions and violently oppose those of their countrymen who disagree with them politically,in their struggle for power.Light and fast has long been proven the most effective offense of war,but unless the civilians of a country are beaten down, shellshocked, devastated, demoralized, and made hungry by such a force employing overwhelming power, disreguarding the effect on civilians, then the light and fast force must immediately within days,be supplanted by the huge number of troops required to seal borders, search buildings and grounds, maintain order and provide intelligence and other necessary interface with the civilian population. There is little information about hidden arms,or any other secret held by a person or groups which will be given to an occupier which can provide little protection or hope of prevailing and providing a favorable, secure, stable atmosphere for the future.Huge numbers of military police, medics, technology for weapons searches and their operators, infantry and armor for border guarding and internal security, must all be supported by a large based pyramid of support troops. The money making scheme of war, where a light and fast military is supplied and management and logistics provided by worldcorp organizations, which are chosen according to who supplies the most money to polititions, becomes untenable immediately upon the completion of a light and fast sweep through a nation. It must be followed by an adequate force. This number would have been well toward half a million troops,in the case of Iraq. To suggest that twenty thousand troops can now accomplish anything toward a realistic control of the situation is an already failed concept. What twenty thousand troops will provide is a very small amount of time for the Iraqis to wake up and forgo killing each other,in order to function as a democracy and it will provide more fodder for the scythe of alquieda and everyone else who hates America.I am extremely pessimistic about anything even approaching success in preventing the Iraqis from killing each other at this point, with that small a force. We have permitted the killing with our skeleton crew occupation and I believe the Iraqis want to kill in revenge more than they want a nation.NPUBLICI

Sensible adoption

Poor people are not allowed to adopt children, simply because they are poor, but poor people can run a mill type home for children and be paid quite well by the government for raising children. This is called foster care.Fostercare, where families are split up,seperating brothers and sisters;where a child is expected to adapt to new morality, social mores' religious ideas, manners, expectations and responses, each time a child is moved from home to home, school to school, and church to church,of different curriculum and beliefs. One of the surest ways to cause a child to hate God and man is to take him from a home where he was not in good circumstances, place him in a foster home, seperated from siblings, attending a different school and church of a different religious faith and to move him every year or two.It would be better for children and better for the welfare of general society,to assist poor people in the adoption of children from foster homes. It would likely be more cost effective and would certainly reduce human suffering,in several ways. There is a need for foster homes, but foster homes should never have been a for years long holding place, like a feedlot or a stockyard for children until they reach legal age. NPUBLICI

Attack The Problem,Not the symptoms

Reading letters to the editor, and story after story in the nations newspapers, reminds me of a large, greedy animal, standing at the feed trough, eating the food of smaller animals, who nip at heels and complain, but have no real plan to claim the food that is rightfully theirs, from the large animal which eats voraciously, produces waste and grows ever larger and more powerful. As the large animal becomes more powerful,it easily crashes gates.pushes over fences, and fords deep water,to devour what it will. The large greedy animal is worldcorp. The smaller animals are private citizens. The waste is what is being perpetrated on the people of the world, portrayed as democracy and free trade. The democracy is business owned and the free trade means that the people running it, are free to enslave the entire world. The people are yipping at the symptoms, wanting this and that stopped, this and that considered, about various subjects of the time, while the large beast ignores them and keeps on eating. All the while those who bring the feed are happy that the people are ignoring the fact that the problems would be solved by jumping in the feed trough and enmass, attacking head on, that which is feeding.Cut off all organized money to government, completely.Permit only private money to elect.Permit tax deductions on only a minimal amount of contributions.Permit no transferance of any value to any in the service of government, from any source.Permit generous tax deductions to organizations, and private citizens, who contribute to general election funds, available to all.Have general election funds provide for media coverage of speeches, statements and debates.Permit no statement or advertizement,in which an explaination of reasoning, in how the statement was arrived at,is not provided.Permit no media advertizement two weeks before any election.Permit no one to be employed by, contract to, or represent to government, any organization or persons he has regulated, voted on or otherwise controlled,in a value of one hundred thousand dollars or more ,for a five year period. Our leaders have and do show us that they can not be trusted with too much power. It is long past the time it should have been done. The apathetic sicken me, when they say there is nothing they can do.I especially disdain the ones who don't vote or will only vote for those who the corrupt media tout as winners. If power cannot be wrested from money and corruption by electoral means,it can be done by referendum.Americans have no excuse, for waiting until it is nesessary, to Take to the streets with weapons, to kill our leaders,as it is in some other countries. The time is now and it is getting late.NPUBLICI

Won't Someone Telephone

V:I was working as a phone-man it was nearing Christmas time-When the people had phone trouble-it was me who fixed the line--V:And I called this one poor lady-when she answered me she cried-It was getting kind of late then-but she said I'm glad this time--C:Cause I've been alone-beside this phone-I've prayed that it would sound-There's not many who would call me -but it"s good that they can now-Cause I've been afraid-throughout the day-I wouldn't see tonight-I don't know if I can make it-and I'd like to say goodbye--V:As my heart crept up to my face-I tried hard to say I cared-but the words just seemed so no place-and I wished that I was there--V:Said she hoped she"d live through new years-so her folks would not be sad-I thought God please hold her so near-cause she's had it kind of bad-C:Cause she's been alone-beside this phone-She's prayed that it would sound-There's not many who would call her-but it's good that they can now--Cause she's been afraid-throughout the day-she wouldn't see tonight-She don't know if she can make it-and she'd like to say goodbye--V:And I wonder just how many-are there in the world tonight-who are waiting just for newyears-with a phone to make it right--V:Don't the sons all have their mothers-It ain't right to be alone-Doesn't anybody love her-please won't someone telephone--C:repeat last Chorus---Copyright1993Delbert Wright Allegood This song is based on a true story. This woman told me she had a heart operation two weeks prior and was not supposed to be alone,or out of bed.Her son lived less than two miles away and she said he wouldn't be visiting her the next day,on christmas day, because he had small children and needed to be with his family. She felt she was near death and only wished to delay her death until after new years,so as to not mar her relatives holidays. As a central office technician it was unethical for me to look up her address and go visit her.I called her again Christmas day and she sounded joyful even though she was in great pain-in several ways.I called her the following day and several days thereafter, but she never answered again.I don't think she made it to new years. This woman among many others,I know for sure, called dead numbers to hear the recorded voices when they were the most lonely. The holidays are the worst times of all for people who are lonely.

Chavez Posturing

Polititions of the US started the name calling long before the UN incident. The brother of the president of the US,the governor of Florida, publicly called Chavez "crazy".Chavez is posturing in order to appeal to the people who find his position attractive. This is the same politics played by George Bush and many other polititions, many times, many years. When the US refused to honor its commitment(to please worldcorp oil)of supplying spare parts for the fighter jets bought by Venezuala from the US,it marked a sharp turning point in rapport between the two countries. This greatly reduced the likelihood of friendly relations with Venezuala. It was not over democracy. It was about venezuala reversing the unholy hold worldcorp had on venezualas natural resources. The people of Venezuala are actually sharing in the wealth of its oil exports, instead of the oil corporations taking most of it.This did not please worldcorp,so they had the government, which they have paid for, threaten and cheat the government of Venezuala. The basic differences remain serious. They are the same differences that most of the worlds countries have with the US.We have become a battering ram for unfettered capitalism and the worlds richest, who own worldcorp, over the objections of the peoples of every nation of the world. The applause from the UN members, over Chavezes words, was not a fluke, or a bunch of uncouth rowdies to be ignored. It is unusual that worldcorp lets that very large voice be heard in the US.I suppose our leaders expect us to think they're all "crazy" too,so when it gets loud enough we can preemptivly kill them all.Under the present circumstances there is little hope for a just, peaceful hemisphere, much less the world.Elections in the US are bought by the rich of the entire world, through their corporations. The rich get at least two votes each. One through their corporation, the other private. Some of the rich have millions of votes because they provide the money to warp the truth, kill the truth and ruin private lives,to gain votes.NPUBLICI

Iraq War

There is little sense in firing Donald Rumsfeld. He merely represents the philosophy of most of the republicans in power. He obviously believes in the privatization of most governmental functions, including most,if not all, of the military. The current republican tactics for pursueing the purposes of worldcorp and the rich are;fight a war on borrowed money instead of taxing, pushing the debt ever forward to future generations, reducing government exposure to war damage claims through the VA,by using as many civilians as possible, fattening large corporations and disenfranchising the civilians.(when one goes overseas to work,American laws and rights are few and weak, even when working for a corporation calling itsself American.)These are similar tactics to those used during the Vietnam war;insulating and isolating most of the American people from a war which could not be fought otherwise. The working class people sacrifice the most in the deaths and maiming of their daughters and sons.Only when a few of the children of the elite were in danger of being drafted by a lottery draft system, was there enough pressure to stop the Vietnam war. Most of the time "the chosen"were placed in units where it was known for sure they wouldn't see combat in a hundred years;such as the units our recent presidents were assigned to.Also,to hold costs down and to insulate and isolate the American people,we are running a skeleton crew military, after the style of big box worldcorp,in business applications. As for being equipped, The US army has never had anything but a few small units which were actually fully equipped with all they needed of the latest and greatest.Furthermore, any officer who is making a career of the military will rarely be foolish enough to contradict a civilian over him.During my training in the US army I was instructed that it takes a whole lot more troops and equipment to hold ground, than it does to take it.I was reminded that Gengis Khan,Alexander,Hittler, the Romans and others had discovered this and that the truth hadn't changed.I seriously doubt that just because the republicans want to fight a war on the cheap, that this long proven truth has changed. There are many half truths, outright lies and semantical statements involved in hiding the actual true monetary cost of the war.I fully expect the eventual published cost of Afganistan and Iraq to be more than three trillion dollars. The hidden costs will take it much higher. As in the Vietnam war,the costs in human misery are great and lengthy.Physical and emotional damage will span generations.Physcological and chemical damage has already reached to the grandchildren of Vietnam veterans.NPUBLICI

Hispanic Racism

I have heard insulting statements from many people directed at those of us who oppose illegal immigration.U.S. citizens who want their government to enforce the laws which have been put in place by their representative government are being called all sorts of vulgar names, including racist. It is being stated by national and state government officials, corporate heads, organizational leaders, journalists and sundry others, that people opposing illegal immigration are racists.Quite often the reverse is actually true. If you are pushing for your own race, who are illegal, over the objections of citizens who want their laws enforced, you are a racist. This has already been well established during the struggle for civil rights for African-American citizens. The white 'good old boys",who sat comfortably on their front porches, and would have never hurt any one,but still felt justified in many acts of discrimination against black people were found to be racists and are still thought of as racists. The subtle and insidious come greatly into play in this type of warfare, during this latest quest for cheap labor, at any cost, borne by working Americans.I believe that people of distinct races, such as Mel Martinez, who represent the interests of their race instead of the interests of the working people who elected them, are racists. As surely as the "good old boys were, and are,so,also, they are racists.NPUBLICI

Debra Lafave

Debra Lafave is a pretty and sexually attractive woman who is emotionaly immature. She still does not know how to read the politically correct mores' of the elite in charge of her life and to limit their actions against her future,by toeing the party"line"in her choice of words. She has spoken a truth that her lovers mother does not want to hear;that people who wish to believe nonsense don't want to hear;and that the intelligensia have made a monumental decision on and don't want to hear any common sense on.There is no sharp transition between childhood and adulthood, for Debra Lafave or her teenaged lover. There is a point at which we,during our childhood, understand the difference between right and wrong and it doesn't occur at age 18, 0n our birthday. To reason that children have no fault,no culpability,no responsibility and indeed no delinquency in the matter of consenting sexual contact with an adult is ridiculous and totally counterproductive to prevention of that event. There should be a punishment for both adult and child. The aggressive young man who consorted with Debra Lafave certainly knew that his behavior was unacceptable in many ways,in many instances. He learned his low reguard for women and his charm'um,use'um,throw'um away style somewhere, but unless he is an imbecile,he knows better. To label this sort of affair"child molestation"is another societal sickness as bad as,or worse than the affair. When I was a teen aged boy I had the opportunity for sex with an adult woman, more than once.I could have had sex with the pretty young teacher, that half the football team  and others had.Back then they were just considered "lucky"She finally left the school that year.
Today, she would be severely punished and the braggart teenaged boys would be "victims",counseled heavily at taxpayers expense. NPUBLICI

Sniping And Reality

Europe, which has been quick to condemn Israel,in its defence of its soverienty,is having a hard time gathering troops for the job of securing the border. When the reality of death and maiming affects your own people,it provides a different enlightenment.Europe knows, when it is not pretentious and facetious, that the singular agenda of Hezbolla to kill Israelis will not change and that if nesessary UN troops will be attacked to meet that end. They can also be certain that if they are unable to contain Lebanese aggression, that Israel will take action and that UN troops could die in large numbers.Furthermore,it is a certainty that Syrias hatred of Israel will cause it to continue the funding and support of terrorism, attacking Israel from Syria and Lebanon, with UN troops in the middle, on that border also.Given the History of the UN, it is probable that a weak, ineffective "gesture only"deployment will be placed and UN troops will die.It is not beyond Syria to provoke a border incident and claim a reason for attacking UN troops with its own army.Yes,when you are faced with the horrors of dealing with such a people of hatred,it is far different from the secure sniping position.NPUBLICI

Aggressor Nations

Lebanon is an aggressor nation. It has allowed attacks on its neighbor'Israel,a soveriegn nation, according to the major nations of the world. In that Lebanon did not cry out to the nations of the world for help in controlling people within its borders, when it could not control them,it is complicit and a defacto attacker;a violator of the soverienty of the state of Israel. That lebanon cried out for protection since Israel began defending its people,is only an indication that Israel was making headway toward elimination of the threat. The showing of" victims"of Israel in lebanon, for the most part only portrays the apparent stupidity of those who could leave, and the lack of compassion of government and fellow citizens for those who could not leave on their own. Those people were warned as no other nation has ever or would ever warn of an impending attack. How much warning has the innocent of Israel ever been given?Israel has always kept to its word and does attack, even though they know that warning the population, will allow the enemy to militarily prepare .Every nation has the obligation to other nations to control the people within its borders and their actions toward other nations.Every nation has the right to defend itself, including the incursion into a nation which cannot or will not control its population, and their hostile actions toward the defender nation. As surely as Libya was supporting terrorism,So also are Iran and Syria.Libya has been brought to an understanding. There is no oil, or price of oil, worth a drop of the blood of innocent victims of these people who cry out that they have that obligation to kill in the name of God. Let not the greed for cheap energy determine our foriegn policy to that extent.NPUBLICI

Iraq

I do not believe we should have stayed in Iraq, past the time when Saddam Hussein was captured;if indeed, we should have gone there in the first place. The governing of Iraq should have ,long ago, been left to the Iraqis It is not a good idea to try to force our capitalistic, quasi democratic government on a people who have been victimized by our capitalists, draining their resources, and supporting despotic rulers who facilitated that plunder. The people of other countries whom have suffered far worse than any U.S. citizen, from unfettered capitalism, understand very well that money would be the only power in a copy of our form of government. In addition, the only thing Muslims want less than a rival faction of branched Islam to have any power,is an atmosphere where other beliefs would have equality before their government.Only a crushing blow, such as that delivered to Japan,at the end ofWW2,would change that veiw. Not many sane people would want that.I believed that, perhaps there was an arguement for attacking Iraq, based on the information given to me by my government. The most important segment of that, was the alqieda camp which Saddam allowed within his borders. After the war began I heard nothing more about it. Other reasons given for the war seem to have,in fact, no basis now.I do not know.I may never know. Many things are held secret from me.Even things which happened during our civil war are classified information.Things which were public information, have now been reclassified.I hope we can trust our elected governments integrity.I would rather trust people who claim to worship God and try to support his principals, than people who support sexual deviancy and the killing of unborn children.I have seen both worlds and know the folly of Godlessness. There is no eternal wisdom given to the Godless. Closer To The Feeling,a song lyric

Closer To The Feeling:If you ever need a friend I'll be there-closer by your side-than you ever thought was possible or-ever hoped to find--If you're ever down and find you need me-all you do is call-and I'll try to be the thing you're needing-I would give my all--C:Closer to the feeling-of knowing how to love-I hope you'll always need me-you know I need your love--I think we're gonna see it-I'm learning how to give-If you should ever leave me-I wonder how I'd live--Vs:And It's been a lonely life without you-Haven't you been too-And I've said it all to you so now then-girl it's up to you--There are many people who can't find it-even when they're close-but we've got it all together so good-tell me that it's so--C:--Copyright1996 Delbert W. On recent capitol events

Perhaps the corruption is more wide spread at the highest levels of our government than I had believed.I wonder how much incriminating evidence is being disapeared from washington offices this weekend;just in case.Eliteism is still at work.We grow ever more like what our fathers rejected,to form this nation. We have our executive and legislative members failing to represent us and telling us what laws they will not be subject to,unlike the rest of us. Does the executive branch have fears that if they let the evidence be pursued in the capitol they could be next;or that congress might start doing its job in representing the people? No wonder our government has so little problem in dealing with royalty and dictatorships on behalf of corporations.they've become much like them!Delbert W Allegood NPUBLICI

Changing Mexico

Sending large numbers of mexicans home who have been, illegaly, living in the US,could force drastic changes in mexican government and society.Judging from what I have seen of aggressive attitudes, the demanding of rights which don't exist, the willingness to risk imprisonment for what they want to do,the ability to attract allies in a proven untenable cause and the lack of respect for the working people of a foriegn country, the US,these people should do well in effecting change in their own country.Perhaps that is a reason Mexico doesn't want them to come back and our elite who profit from a weak Mexico, want them to stay here.

Prosecute Crooks Hiring ILegal Workers

The fact that virtually nothing is being done,to punish the employers of illegal workers,is as strong a proof, as any ever brought to light,of the corrupt relationship our government has with business in America.I believe it is practical, expedient and moraly just to catch, identify, fingerprint and release illegal workers with a warning to leave our country and that a second violation will bring imprisonment and deportation.Business should be punished for hiring illegal workers, as they are for not paying taxes.Individualy responsible corporate officers should be charged with the crime, not just the corporation.Corporations, collectivly, only have the organized, mindless pursuit of maximum profit as an agenda.Rules, regulations, laws and morality are only seen as negotiable impediments to that agenda. They are to be pushed, bent, broken and ignored, then argued about in court later.Under these conditions, only the stockholders and customer will suffer. If the going gets too tough, the corporate officers will just reward themselves for their corruption and go elsewhere to destroy. There is no excuse for not pursuing employers. There are blatant violators.Government knows who most of them are, because most of them have been reported by citizens,to the government. What has been described as a compromise,is only the original agenda to artificially hold wages down. There is no compromise about the people who are already here illegaly.I pray that our enemies are not among them.Since the people, who want to legitimize this latest illegality, can't find a word to use with immigrant, migrant and worker, which doesn't actually indicate illegality, they have stopped using the definatives, and use the words alone,as though they needed no definative companion. From the president, on down, polititions and sympathizers are talking to the people of the USA,as though they were all fools.Talking about the communist lie!Delbert W Allegood npublici

Dying newspapers with no clue

Dying newspapers are not catching on.While they are losing circulation and losing revelance, the internet and podcasting are replacing them.Since the USA began, newspapers have had great power,in warping the way people saw politicly. The free flow of thought and the almost instant repudiation of lies by sources proven to be credible from past experience, are a sure fire antidote to the attempts of newspaper managers to unduly influence our political system. Some refuse to be involved in the net, with the mistaken belief that their disdain for the opinions of bloggers and podcasters, should be evidence of their superior journalism. Some believe they can hold on to the singular power they once had.Attempts at adjusting to the technology are,for the most part, lame. The same old habits, brought forth to function on the web, don't play as well on the web as on paper.Refusing to list some readers blogs,in the same old way editors have controlled letters to the editor, usually results in more bad publicity than a contary opinion would have caused. The blogger/podcaster still has recourse,he doesn't have to run to another newspaper and beg them to hear him or to counter the other newspaper. There are other items of terrible attempts at adjustment, which are blatantly obvious upon comparision, especially on newspaper websites.Delbert W Allegood npublici

How sadly ironic it is, that our government, which for many years, financed and encouraged, the poor of america, to kill their children, before they could be born,is now encouraging illegal immigration. We even exported and financed modern mass, cheap killing techniques,to places like china.Abortion was touted as necessary population control, because of world overcrowding.Models of great certainty were espoused, which showed world starvation at the population levels we now have. There was a great urgency to see that as many as possible were killed. Many of the same people are trying to lay guilt trips on those of us who value soverienty and the rule of law,so that we may increase the legal population of the USA.Let's see, thirty to fourty million children killed, which would have been born into poor American families, replaced by illegal border crossing poor people from mexico(who generally don't kill their children)who want a wage increase, but will stay, legaly,if thats the only way they can continue to get it.Sounds like a plan to me.Cheap labor for the elite economy and diversity and foriegn interest appeasment for the embrace everything elite.Whose plan? whose punishment?Delbert W Allegood npublici

Weird,Ghoulish conjecture

These past few weeks I have heard and read many twisted logic, inane statements by many people as to why working citizens should just fall over, for someone from another country, to take their jobs and run their wages down.Famous people have been quoted, some of them communist butchers.Prominent civil rights heros have, many times, been mentioned. The value of a man, sweat, labor, dignity and basic inalienable human rights have all been used as arguments.I agree with all of them. These are all a part of our constitution, bill of rights, laws, rules and regulations. They were designed to speak to who governs, how and what the rights of all citizens and visitors are.The ill informed, ignorant and uneducated from other countries can be excused. The truth twisting, self serving lies coming out of the mouths of polititions and corporate management are reprehensible. The "pulling for MY race,in your face"racists and one race vote getters, are making some aggressive and outrageous statements showing their true value of and appreciation for the citizens of the USA.I would like to respond to every one of these leaders of foreign and corporate interests, but I will choose one.I would like to remind Democrat Richard Alarcon of Van nuys that the Boston tea party ,he refered to, as argument for his cause, was about taxation without representation and resulted in the violent overthrow of the government.Such is the case now. With the republicans,it is about the "economy".Whose economy? Certainly not the one of the real world, where citizens of the USA work and struggle.I believe they refer to the inverted funnel, where the labor of many, funnels up to the few,who hold the strings to manipulate governments.Delbert W Allegood npublici

Letters to the editor process rectification

I propose websites for key areas of the U.S.,such as California bay area, Tampa bay area,NycNy and others which would recieve letters, sent to the editors of major daily media covering those areas and nationaly. The sites would, after 24hrs, publish the letters and the name of the media it was sent to.

ON GASOLINE PRICES

When I read and hear all the nonsense the rhetoric spinners are spewing,I get nauseated. These jokers make so much money pontificating and saying see,I told you so,that one would think they could actually address the oil companies rip off of the American people. All it would take is high enough rewards for whistle blowing. The people who could actually bare the lies make so much money that it would take a lot to tempt them. But,oh yes,it certainly would work. That's why it won't be done. Why do you suppose the energy meetings were secret? Besides all that,if you fill your tank you pay for hauling around the weight of a full tank. This can be substantial in some cars.If you fill up once or twice a week it doesn't take much labor to serve you.If you put small amounts in, more often, station labor goes up,profits go down. This could become overwhelming if enough people chose to target only oil company owned stations. If independently owned stations were targeted it would only run the owner out of business. Then the oil company would have that level of profit also.If you buy your fuel from the beautifuly lit and decorated company stations, you are paying for fluff as well as providing an extra level of profit to a business which has run most of its own independent owner customers out of business. If you buy their grossly over priced food, beverages and tony little boutique items, you provide them with an even greater profit. It costs money for lights, bathroom flushes, additional labor and other overhead items which increase with traffic frequency.Every time the door is opened it lets out air conditioning. As far as the crude prices are concerned the oil producing countries know what our money will buy and they aren't under our governments oppressive thumb like american labor is.Delbert W Allegood npublici

No reason for new laws against poor people.

We just need to enforce our laws against business, the rich and the powerful.Labor goes where there are jobs waiting for them. This would take care of most of the ridiculous infiltration of illegal entrants into our labor pool. There is little justifiable reason to arrest the father of a family and leave his family stranded.More than enough of that is already done in this country to poor citizens, for relatively minor transgressions of elitist law. When business starts paying for it's illegal activity, all else will fall into place. There is no reason to be unkind to anyone who is being victimized by their own country, then by the U.S.A.,for failing to protect them against exploitation. How much faith do I place in this being done? Most likely, there will be a showing of enforcement against smaller, less powerful blatant violators who don't use the subcontractor ruse. There will be terrible mistreatment of the poor,a slowing of the show and new efforts to pull more of the same over on working American citizens.Delbert W. It's the same old story.

The republicans are responding to their masters, the business people, who are their friends and supporters. The democrats are taking the part of anything but the values of mainstream America and trying to use race, poverty, religion and historical civil rights issues and figures against those of us who just want what we went to war for, worked for,and our fathers worked for, what we remained at peace with each other for, what we voted for and what is rightfully ours. Both parties are getting what they want.Working citizens are getting ignored. The republicans claim they are responding with compassionate conservatism,to the appeals of democrats. The democrats are responding to the desires of business for the republicans and to generate business support for themselves. The citizens of mexico have more influence on my government than I do.I couldn't even get them to keep their promises of free health care and compensation for damage caused by war. Some one can enter this country illegaly, take work away from me,cause me to pay high uninsured motorist insurance, high taxes to support their lack of responsibility to society here, send their kids to school at no cost, even requiring us to supply interpreters, shortchanging my grandchildren.my medical insurance is in danger of being withdrawn, because citizens and insurance on citizens are paying for those who can't pay. They can't pay, because heartless business is paying them starvation wages.Of course if you're illegal and complain, that would be the only time business would be interested in immigration law.Social security is fast fading because of artificialy low wages and the elitist idea that there should be any limit on income as to who should pay.Infrastructure is crumbling all over America. Most governmental offices are understaffed and under funded.Like the labor hating corporations, government has been trying to wring the last ounce of energy from every employee, giving them the additional duties of retired or fired employees and like worldcorp, requiring them to smile when facing the public.I have noticed people in governmental offices begginning to look like the billboard, sign plastered big box employees. You can see the desperation and misery past the "business"smile. There are so many things that the current elitist philosophy of artificially induced low wages and the hatred of labor, are adversely affecting, that it would take a book to describe them.I am a songwriter, not an author of commentary.I am,however, not at all pleased with the direction my homeland has taken, because of the undue influence of business on government and the corruption of government, that it can be so influenced.Delbert W.
